MTV Afterlife will no longer be receiving updates until further notice.
This decision has been made after no new channels have been created, no updates have been made, and no news has been released since the recent shutdown of MTV Afterlife Bad Bunny.
After October 11, mtv-afterlife.netlify.app, also known as MTV Afterlife, will no longer receive updates. The only channel expected to remain operational will be MTV Afterlife 90s.
There is a possibility that, if viewership continues to decline, MTV Afterlife will be forced to shut down completely on December 31, 2026, at 12:00 AM AST.
If the project shuts down, its files will remain hosted online on GitHub. However, this is a separate plan and will only happen if the project continues to decline.
